Do you need access to power?

Yes I will need access to a power socket in the near vicinity to where I’ll be forming.

Do you bring your own piano?

Yes I have a full sized, 88-key piano keyboard that I bring with me to events at no extra cost.

There’s a piano at our venue, are you happy to use it?

Yes, so long as the piano is regularly tuned and maintained, I am happy to use it.

What other equipment do you bring with you?

I have a 2000w PA system as well as a microphone and loop station that I bring along with me to all performances.

How much time do you need to setup?

Ideally, I like to arrive at a venue 2hrs before guests arrive. This gives me enough time to setup, sound check and change clothes should I need to.

How much space do you need?

This changes depending on the service booked, but varies as follows:
Solo – 6m2,
Trio – 12m2,
DJ – 4m2

How long do you typically play for?

I normally play for 2x1hr sets, but if the timings of your event call for something different then I can be flexible. Additional sets are available on request and I know enough songs to keep singing all day, should I be required to do so!

Do I need to choose which songs you sing?

I encourage each client to choose their top 10-15 songs from my repertoire list to give me an idea of the songs they enjoy. Beyond that I prefer to retain an amount of autonomy in using my experience to choose songs that I believe will enhance the occasion.

Can I choose songs that are not on your repertoire list?

Yes. I offer each client the option of choosing one song that’s not on my repertoire list (two for whole day bookings) and I will create a bespoke arrangement and learn it in time for your event. I ask for a minimum of two weeks notice prior to an event in order to allow time to rehearse.

Are you happy to take requests from guests?

If I know the song (and it’s appropriate to sing it) then I will happily take requests during solo and DJ bookings.

How far will you travel for an event?

I have performed at shows and events all over the world and am happy to travel pretty much anywhere.

Do you have a microphone we can use?

Yes I do have extra microphones that I can bring with me should you need to use one for announcements or speeches.

Are you happy to perform outdoors?

Performing outside is no problem and is something I really enjoy doing. I just ask that I be located in a shaded spot as on hot days, the sun can cause my equipment to overheat. Please don’t forget to check that your venue allows outdoor music.

Is it possible for you to change location during an event?

Yes this is entirely possible although there is a small charge for doing so on account that I will bring extra PA speakers to cover the second location. This ensures a smooth and swift changeover.

Do you have PLI and PAT certificates?

Yes I have valid Public Liability Insurance and all of my equipment is PAT tested every year. Some venues may ask for proof of this and I can supply certificates for both, which can be downloaded HERE. The certificates are updated on a yearly basis, so please check that they will be valid on the date of your event. If they will not be valid for your event date, you will need to wait until the new certificates have been uploaded or simply request them from me nearer the time.

Can you provide background music for in between your sets?

Yes, I have a selection of Spotify playlists that I use for background music in between sets. If you have a specific Spotify playlist that you would like me to play then please send me a link and I will download it in advance of your event.


Which parts of the day do you cover?

Pretty much all of them! Depending on your requirements, I can deliver emotional love songs for your ceremony, groove-based R&B/pop songs to set the perfect vibe during drinks reception & wedding breakfast and upbeat dance-floor fillers for evening party! How many songs do I need for my wedding ceremony?

There are typically 4-5 songs required for a wedding ceremony. A Processional song for the bridal party’s entrance, 2 or 3 songs for the signing of the register and a Recessional song for the married couple’s exit. I am also happy to perform music prior to the ceremony, as guests take their seats.

Can you play for our first dance?

Absolutely! I can perform first dances solo with piano accompaniment or backing tracks, with the trio or I can play an original song from my DJ setup or even an iPad if need be. If you have a song that’s special to you and your partner, just let me know at least two weeks prior to your wedding day, and I will happily perform that song as part of your booking.
