James and his band were absolutely wonderful. We had so many people compliment them and we didn’t have to worry about a thing, their set flowed beautifully. They were flawless for our ceremony and even performed a personal rendition of “Somewhere over the rainbow” which I felt very emotional walking down the aisle to. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so we asked to make a last minute change and if it was possible for James and the band to move outside after the ceremony for our drinks reception. They accommodated without any issues and were flawless with moving around on the day and setting up so quickly and efficiently. They couldn’t have been any more professional than they already were and we were so impressed with every song they performed. Thank you James for making our day that much more memorable and glorious. We will always be grateful and in awe of your beautiful voice!

James and the guys were just incredible. We invited our friends to a secret wedding (disguised as a christening) as we wanted an informal party atmosphere and from the very first chat, James grasped what we were wanting and produced an amazing Neo Soul evening starting with jazz and working through to funk classics. We really couldn’t have asked for more. The band, the music, the dj sets, the whole thing was just brilliant and we want to do it all again!

James and the band were brilliant, and we are so glad we booked them for our wedding celebration. James was really helpful in the lead up to the day: getting in touch, making sure we were aligned on the schedule and following up with a clear plan. The band on the day were excellent – they performed a great selection of music played during our canapés, dinner and then dancing. Our guests loved the music, they were all on the dance floor even though we had a relatively small crowd! The band also learned a first dance song for us (Elvis Presley – The Wonder of You) and they performed it perfectly for us on the day! Thanks so much James & the band!

We booked James to play at our wedding, and he was amazing. Everybody was full of praise and he was so engaging with our guests. We thought he sounded brilliant on his promo videos but to hear him live was exceptional. It was like having our own private concert with an A-list performer. We couldn’t recommend James highly enough. In the run up to the big day James’ communication and organisation was second to none. Also helped by him being a super nice guy!

We booked James for our Wedding that was due to take place in 2020. Due to the current situation we had to move our wedding to 2021. James was responsive and sympathetic and moved our wedding with no trouble.
When it came to the day, James was simply amazing. Hearing him warm up to the song I was walking down the aisle to, made my nerves disappear. Every song he sang was amazing and our guests had nothing but compliments.
Thank you so much for being simply incredible. If you want to put an extra special touch on your wedding day, James is the guy for you!

Possibly the greatest live singer ever! James and his band absolutely made our wedding and our guests were all blown away by how amazing his voice was. Would recommend him to anyone for a wedding, party or just some amazing background music! Thanks again James!

James and his band were the perfect addition to our wedding celebrations. We had no end of compliments from our guests about how professional and fantastic they were, both for their amazing sound and for how James helped lead the day with announcements and talking to our guests over the mic. James took so much care to make the music right for us, even allowing us to add in two request songs, which added such a special personal touch to our day. James also provided a DJ service for us until the end of the night which had everyone up enjoying themselves on the dancefloor. I would highly recommend James for any wedding or event – an excellent, talented musician who goes above and beyond.

James performed at our wedding last weekend and we could not have been happier. He was so professional, warm, friendly and amazingly talented. Our guests absolutely loved him! We could not recommend him highly enough and can’t wait for another occasion to book him again!

We had booked James Nicholas for the drinks reception of our wedding on 21.10.2022. James Nicholas played a full 2 hour set with no interruption and completely took on board what we had discussed in our initial meeting beforehand. He is wonderfully talented musician, with a fantastic singing voice. So many of our guests had commented to say how good he was and how much they enjoyed his performance. I only wish that myself and my now husband were able to see more of him on the actual day! Would absolutely recommend. He drove a long way for our wedding and we were incredibly grateful. Thanks again!

He performed for our wedding anniversary and was able to read the room, in terms of what music to sing and play to keep the guests dancing and having a good time. He was at the venue well before our ‘official’ start time to set up, we spoke to him prior to his set starting. Extremely friendly, personable and provided advice on where it was best to set up so guests would get the most out of the performance. Amazing voice and DJ skills, got the crowd going and even got involved in a little dance!! Loads of great feedback from the guests about how good he was. Would book in again in an instant. Thanks James! We would love to hear you play again in the future.

James performed at a corporate event for us and was amazing. He was really great to deal with and worked with us on the song choices. So pleased we booked him!

James has an incredible voice, honesty he is ever better in real life. From making contact with James until the date of the event James was a true gem to deal with. Nothing was too much and he went above and beyond. Would highly recommend and hope to use him again.

James played at my daughter’s wedding dinner in a private room at a London hotel. James has a beautiful voice and everyone thought he was amazing. He was the perfect person for the occasion. He was easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend him and would hire him again.

James was amazing. His voice and piano skills is beautiful and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed his performance. Highly recommended.
