So on Wednesday night (15th Jan 2020) we were in attendance at a special event! The Piano Singer came home with a Highly Commended trophy for the National Final of The Wedding Industry Awards 2020. Yay! Of course we are absolutely thrilled with the recognition from industry judges. It was a great chance to celebrate and network with other business owners. The night out as a guest rather than working as a supplier meant that we could enjoy all the fun that was put on at Café de Paris, near Leicester Square, London.
The awards, included an aerialist, and music from Steve Heath and the awesome Funtime Frankies lovely food, bubbles and crystal chandeliers.
Only two of us attended from The Piano Singer, so a lot of the fun was sitting with new colleagues from the wedding industry and cheering each other on! We spent time with some wonderful other finalists, and enjoyed getting to know their journey there.

Thousands of companies enter the awards, and more than 25,000 clients vote for their favourite suppliers, so to know that our past brides and grooms were impressed enough to take time to comment to TWIA was very overwhelming.
More than the fun night out, we are really glad that we can wear our 2020 ‘Highly Commended’ Musical Act title with pride and that our future clients can feel confident that this mark of approval represents all of the things we strive to be as a wedding supplier and event supplier.
We have worked a lot with BrandByMe an organisation that strives to support businesses in understanding why they exist, who they are and uncover what makes them unique.
The work we did with BrandByMe absolutely ensured that we could articulate our purpose our ethos and personality to the judges confidently and successfully.
We are so glad that they recognised, firstly that our performances are excellent, but also that we put the bride an grooms vision for their day at the forefront of our planning. We are told that soon we will be able to read the anonymous feedback that our brides and grooms submitted along with the judges comments and cant wait to share it with you soon!
